Assignment Description:
For this assignment we were told to take an original photo and try and edit/retouch it to make it look like the retouched photo that we were given. We had to use the clone tool to color in some of the shadows that we did not need. Also, we used color levels to change the color or the car and to tint the window.

What I learned:
I learned how to use the free select tool to select only parts of the picture that i needed to edit at that time. Also, I learned how to change the color levels, making the photo darker or lighter. The thing i thought was the coolest was the clone tool. The clone tool aloud you to copy a part of the image and then use the object/ color that you copied for somewhere else in the photo.

Nature
Assignment Description:
For this assignment, we were told to pick one of the compositions given and to take 50 photos of the composition you chose. At the end, we would chose our BEST photo and then 9-11 other really good ones.

Summary:
For my first composition i picked "nature". I went around my house looking for certain things that i saw outside to take pictures of. I changed the aperture, ISO, and shutter speed settings.

Gimp Popart assignment
Assignment Description:
For this assignment, we were told to use the application Gimp. We took a picture of ourselves and then pasted it onto Gimp and cropped the photo to the right size you needed. Next, we split the paper on gimp into four different boxes and copy and pasted the same photo in each one. Then, we changed each photo to be a different color.

I learned how to use certain tools on Gimp, and how to create a pop art effect with my photo.

Composition assignment
Assignment description: For this project, we were told to take alot of different photos each representing the 11 elements. Afterwards, we would choose 1 of each element that we thought was the best.

I learned how to use the grid on the camera and what all the different elements were. Also, I learned how to create a blog on blogger.com and how to upload pictures to photoshop.com. I really liked taking pictures of the color elements. The hardest element to find and capture was balance.
