This assignment was fun because you could pretty much take a picture of anything as long as it was up close and in macro mode. I learned that you have to be really close to the object for macro mode to work the best. If I wasn't really close, the object wouldn't focus very good.

Gimp Assignment 3: Panoramic
Assignment description:
For this assignment, we had to take three photos that were next to each other, so they could connect. I went outside and took three shots of the school. We were told to overlap the photos about 20%, so you would have room to connect them all on the computer later on. Once we took our photos, we downloaded them into Gimp and made three separate layers. Then, we edited them to make everything look like they connect.
Photo:
What I learned:
I learned how to use color levels, to make the sky all the same color. Also, I learned how to use different layers when editing the picture. I figured out that when you're taking the panoramic photo, you should really watch where your last photo ended because some of my objects in the picture would not line up or had a missing part of it. I really liked this assignment, because i learned lots of new stuff and it was really fun to try and connect three different photos together to try and make a long photo.
